Booking a Walk
This is our current schedule of winter mountaineering days in January and February 2017. There are a selection of walks available, ranging from straightforward days to more challenging trips requiring a good level of fitness. The easier walks have been planned to allow time for winter skills coaching where necessary. Bookings for walks can be made by completing the form on the events page.

Please feel free to contact us if you want to discuss the suitability of any particular walk for you.

For each walk, transport will be available from our meeting point in central Glasgow, just next to Buchanan St bus station, and it may be possible to collect people en route where practical. There is no additional charge for this transport.

As noted on the individual events, it is important that participants are properly equipped for a day’s travel in winter – we have a selection of jackets and waterproof trousers available, and can help with the hire of boots, crampons and an ice axe from Tiso if required. A suggested kit list for winter mountaineering is available for download here.

All participants will be required to complete a Consent/Health form prior to commencing the activity.

Please ensure that you complete a copy of this for each event you participate in, and either email it back to us, or bring it with you.
