A day out on the hills can be great fun, but nothing beats the opportunity to sleep out in the fresh air, enjoying the peace and solitude of wild camping, falling asleep to the sound a nearby stream, or the wind rustling the grass and heather.
Over the course of the year, we offer several planned trips to a variety of locations in Scotland including, this year, the Knoydart peninsula for a chance to summit all three Munros in the area.
We’re also happy to help you organise your own multi-day trip, and can give advise on what to bring, and pass on a host of tips, tricks and hints that can make the difference between a comfortable night and a sleepless one. Items like tents can be sourced from our gear store if you don’t have suitable equipment of your own.
Depending on the time of year, there would be the opportunity to camp high – it requires a bit more effort to carry the stuff up, but with the right conditions, it can be a magical experience to watch a dramatic sunset over the western mountains as you enjoy a single malt and the company of good friends.
